Plastic Injection Molding China & Taiwan

Plastic injection molding in China can be much cheaper than in the West once you understand how to adapt plastic parts designs to the particularities of Chinese injection molders.

Between China and the West there is a different balance between setup (i.e. tooling) costs and labor costs. Parts designed for Western manufacture are generally designed for high degrees of automation, which is often suboptimal in China, where a high amount of labor can be used quite cheaply. Titoma can help to design your parts to fit into this model, thus optimizing your plastic molding for China manufacturing.

Most everybody knows that plastic molds from China are cheap, but there are also many horror stories around. If mold making in China goes wrong, it tends to go wrong in quite a big way. At Titoma we offer you the best of both worlds: our China molds and plastic parts are as low cost as they come, while a team of Western and Taiwanese engineers assure full conformity to Western quality standards and on-time delivery of parts.

Think of our services as risk insurance: we take away all the risks and headaches that you will sooner or later run in to when trying to work with Chinese plastic manufacturers directly. Our injection mold making factories are located in southern China, where we make normal plastic injection molds and do plastic manufacturing and final parts assembly.

Of course we cannot do everything in-house, so we work with a few partners for more specialized molds such as:
